Loved it and have kept the details to stay again. We loved it here. The peaceful surrounding, close distance to the center of town and the hosts were amazing. Our room over looked a beautiful, peaceful garden with hummingbirds. We loved it. Would highly recommend it.

Quiet, Relaxing Place to Stay Large room with private entrance. Only one room for guests at this B&B. Due to Covid 19 we were provided a self serve breakfast which was more than ample. Very quiet location and very clean. Comfortable king size bed. Able to sit outside in the garden.

Very cute and cozy spot on Vancouver island’s east coast! Highly recommend a stay at Brad and Peggy’s clean and comfy b&b! Near Nanaimo airport, it’s a perfect spot from where to explore around the Cowichan valley and the eastern side of the island!

Peggy and. Brad are such gracious hosts and our two night stay at their home was really exceptional and enjoyable. The room had a homey feel, was extremely clean and had everything that you could need for your stay down to the last detail. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each day while soaking in the beautiful gardens. Another bonus is that the ocean front is only a short walk from their front door.

Bed was very comfortable. Room and en-suite great. Outdoor covered sitting area and breakfast was just lovely. We sat out there a lot. Plenty of humming birds to watch and listen to. A wonderful peace feel. Peggy pottery beautiful and the graphic arts very interesting.

My recent trip to the island with @ourhappyplaceblog came to an end with a stay at the amazing @hummingbirdhaven_bandb. #giftedexperience The owners Brad and Peggy spoiled us with some amazing conversations about plant based living, sustainability and even a ride in a Tesla! Their passion for the arts and healthy living is both contagious and inspiring. This plant based breakfast was the perfect ending to a beautiful stay and even more so, we did enjoy it with some lovely hummingbirds in our presence! If you’re on the island and want to get inspired by these two incredible artists, please stop in and say hi to Brad and Peggy!

If you’re looking to put your feet up and relax with nothing but the soothing sound of humming birds buzzing by, with a stroll to the nearby beach for some beach combing, this is it. Well appointed ground floor suite onto a beautiful tranquil back yard with gracious hosts Brad and Peggy.

We don’t know what it is, but the minute we entered Hummingbird Haven a transformation took place in our bodies and minds that left behind our stress and fears of life, replacing them with relaxation and peace. The garden is nature’s gift of trees, flowers, fountains, hummingbird feeding stations and little hide-away places to have breakfast, afternoon teas and happy hours where one can relax, dream and feel the beauty of Saltair.
